
Aubrey Plaza, born June 26, 1984, is an actor and comedian known for her deadpan sense of humor. Plaza can be seen as April Ludgate in "Parks and Recreation". After acting in sketches and improv the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater she was first seen on "The Jeannie Tate Show" and then appeared in "Funny People", "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World", and other web series. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington, Delaware, the daughter of an attorney, Bernadette Plaza, and the financial expert David Plaza. The parents of her mother and father are both Irish-English. Plaza got her education from an all girls Catholic high school that she attended in 2002 and the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 2006. When she was in her senior year at her high school years, she served as president of the student government at the school, and also participated in Wilmington Drama League performances. Plaza, who was during her sophomore year in college when the stroke happened she was diagnosed with expressive aphasia as well as the paralysis phase. The condition has since improved.
