Yael stone, a New York City Australian resident, portrayed Lorna Morello on Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael Stone graduated from NIDA. From a young age, Yael has been lucky enough to work with the best storytellers in Australia, brilliant stars of the stage and visionaries behind the scenes in film as well as theatre and television. Yael has had a long and successful career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was thrilled to discover her new home after the Brooklyn Academy of Music, which was the venue where the production premiered to high praise, was her new home in New York City. Yael co-founded The Cannery. The Cannery is the Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery encourages ideas in creative writing, as well as innovative creative projects, and supports the formation of new writers.
